Third Party Political Spending Hitting the Airwaves
Tags: Abortion, Barack Obama, Democrat, Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Mitt Romney, warPeople are off for the holidays, but not the 3rd party spending, which are hitting the airwaves in Iowa.
Hillary Clinton – her backer (The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees) – launched radio spots against the Barack Obama health care plan.
John Edwards – has a backer titled Democratic Courage (formed to counter Hillary’s White House bid) , announced it will buy time on Iowa television attacking her candidacy. It also has created web-ads attacking Obama.
Poor Mitt Romney doesn’t have any known backing, airing ads, but does have a group called American Right to Life attacking his historic positions on abortion issues.
There are also mailings from groups and web-sites stepping up in favor of candidates for the upcoming vote on 3-January-2008. It’s going to be a "hot" January for 2008.
