The Challenge of McCain and Barack’s “Bird”
Tags: Barack Obama, Campaign, Democrat, economy, Global Warming, Hillary Clinton, immigration, John McCain, Politics, Republican, the issues, warAs reported in a Bloomberg article written by Heidi Przybyla and Kristen Jensen the Democrats included in their debate who was felt to be less vulnerable to McCain in November - meaning, who could beat the chap.
You’ve got Hillary’s so-called experience (some of which was made up - as she dodged bullets in Bosnia (Ha!)); in reality she can at least claim she has more exposure to the federal system. You have Barack’s idealism and claims he will be able to shake up "the system". In this opinion, neither case holds water. The "party" candidate run-off is to some extent a popularity contest…who makes the better promises that sound reasonably achievable.
Then the Presidential-race gets to the nuts-and-bolts of details for plans to deal with the issues pending on most peoples minds (global warming, the economy, the war in Iraq, illegal immigration, unemployment, etc.), once there is a single candidate for each party with the culminating vote in November for the Executive Office.
So who can beat the challenge of McCain? Both candidates have their strengths and weaknesses, but it is believed both will fall short of the goal — as neither has war experience and both lack any meaningful international experience. McCain has quantities of both skills and has a leadership persona that can influence the leadership of other countries…both Clinton and Obama possess more of a relationship persona which is less "formidable" to dictatorships and rogue nations.
Back to the Dem-vs-Dem race. Obama clearly thinks he will be the winner and is tired of dealing with Hillary’s antics, and expressed with his provision of "the Bird" to her during the last debate. Watch and enjoy.
Now, does Presidential-race.net really believe Obama is "flipping"? No, this is a casual "itch" gesture only. Obama does need to re-think the implications of this personal habit though. Cheers!
