Obama Camp on Defensive — and Lies on the Race-Card
Tags: Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Campaign, Democrat, Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama, Political B.S., Presidential-Race, race-card, South Carolina, warMaking the point that South Carolina has become a referendum on Bill Clinton was the e-mail from Michelle Obama that popped into in-boxes exactly at the moment the former president started speaking Thursday in Walterboro, S.C. (population 5,545).
“In the past week or two, another candidate’s spouse has been getting an awful lot of attention,” said Michelle Obama as she asked for a $50 donation to her husband’s campaign (that’s tacky).
“We knew getting into this race that Barack would be competing with Senator Clinton and President Clinton at the same time.… What we didn’t expect, at least not from our fellow Democrats, are the win-at-all-costs tactics we’ve seen recently.”
Wow - the Obama camp has adopted the perspective of the victim suffering "injuries". And in doing so has gone into a defensive posture, which then lead to a flat-out lie.
“We don’t play the fear card, or the race card or the anger card,” said Kevin Puleo, Obama’s regional field director as he tried to warm up the crowd waiting to hear Barack Obama speak Thursday night in North Charleston.
Oh, yes they did!! (Even today Obama has made a direct appeal to blacks here after rarely mentioning race throughout the campaign. He’ll continue that strategy going forward, making trips to Georgia and Alabama later this weekend.)
As reported by Presidential-race.net Michelle did play a race-card on 20-November, to an audience at the historically black South Carolina State University.
AND Barack played the race-card only 18 days earlier on 2-November, while speaking from the steps of a historic courthouse in Clarendon County, South Carolina.
Oops - they did it again, and again. Lies and lies. Are you listening South Carolina voters? Both instances happened in the state voting in primaries today, 26-January.
