Second place finisher John Edwards stays alive by edging Hillary Clinton. Clinton goes into New Hampshire wounded. Bill Richardson managed 2% and moves on.

Huckabee 39,814 34% 17
Romney 29,405 25% 12
Thompson 15,521 13% 3

Hunter eliminated from invitation from ABC prime-time presidential debates Saturday night due to poor showing(2% or more required). Romney loss in Iowa damages campaign. Huckabee to ride momentum into New Hampshire. Thompson stays alive with 13% (in a state where he spent little time); ditto for McCain (percentage and comment). Paul captures 10% of vote with little man-power, and expected to show much better in New Hampshire where Independent, Libertarian-style politics do very well. Giuliani is the big loser of the day with 6%.
